Prayer Consecrates


Prayer is a significant spiritual force we need to live a consecrated life.

This is because the forces of desecration are also spiritual.



The word of God tells us in Zechariah 3:1-3:

And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and stood before the angel.



This verses reveals the source of the conflicts that we face, in our desire to live a consecrated life.



Joshua, the high priest, did not choose the filthy garmets. The spirit of filthiness was put on him by evil forces by Satanic Forces in the unseen realm.



That is why God has given us the weapon of prayer, to pull down every stronghold of the evil one that stands against our walk with God.
