Singer-songwriter Nik Day has performed on Mormon Channel Studio before. In this episode, he returns to sing two originals. The first, “A Savior is Born” is a special Christmas message. The second is called “What I See.”

“I’d never written a Christmas song before,” he explains, “and it seemed like a challenge. I thought of Christ as a child, maybe not knowing that what he was going to do was so great. It’s kind of symbolic of everybody. Even though we don’t think we’ll amount to a lot sometimes, we really will.”
