In this special Christmas-themed session at Mormon Channel Studio, Marj Desius performs a Haitian tune, “Tonton Noel,” and a medley of “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and “Joy to the World.”

“Tonton Noel” describes the story of a little girl who wrote a letter Santa. Rather than demanding toys, she asked for peace, food, and clothing for her family.

“We’ve had quite an experience this year—a lot of catastrophe. Not everybody is going to have the same Christmas that we’re probably having. So it’s just a way to remind people that Christmas is about sharing, love, and blessings,” Marj says.
