As a spouse, we want to do everything in our power to help our spouses recover from pornography use. We may try to control our spouses’ behavior, or we may find ourselves in the role of the enforcer. However, this is not a healthy role for us to take. Our spouse is the only person who can change his or her behavior. We can’t carry the weight of someone’s agency.
