Singer Rebecca Lopez visited Mormon Channel Studio to perform two beautiful songs in Spanish. The first, she wrote with the help of her husband. “Tu Iugar” is a tribute to her father-in-law, who passed away.

“It’s so much easier for me to get into a song when I picture myself in the setting of that song and who I’m singing it for and why. I was picturing my husband’s father and how everyone who knew him loved him,” Rebecca says.

Rebecca also performs ""Yo sé que vive mi Señor,” which is called in English “I Know That My Redeemer Lives.” Accompanying her on the piano is the man who arranged the piece, Michael R. Hicks.

Mormon Channel Studio is a weekly video series featuring hymn arrangements and original music by LDS musicians from across the nation.
