Take a moment to relax and look closely at works of art from Latter-day Saints around the world from the 12th International Art Competition: All Are Alike unto God. Here is video 5 of 5 on the theme “All Beggars.”
About the Artwork
“God’s Grace” by Grace Perez (Connecticut)
Artist Grace Perez relies on the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi, where broken works are repaired with tree sap and gold dust. But in this work, she portrays a person who is repaired, representing all of God’s children, whose flaws and imperfections are filled in and made beautiful through the grace of the Savior’s Atonement.
"We are all alike unto God, who sees our value and repairs our flaws so that we can become like Him." —Grace Perez (artist)
